Kapinga pens emotional message

New Mamelodi Sundowns signing Lesedi Kapinga has written an emotional farewell message to Black Leopards chairman David Thidiela and the club's supporters.

Kapinga has left Leopards to sign a five-year deal with Sundowns and is already in camp in preparation for next season.

The 25-year-old is the second signing to be announced by The Brazilians in recent weeks after George Maluleka from Kaizer Chiefs.

The Limpopo-born midfielder also thanked his former teammates and coaches he worked with at Lidoda Duvha.

"The past two seasons at Black Leopards have been possibly the happiest of my life. I only have feelings of gratitude towards everyone at the club, especially the chairman Mr [David] Thidiela and his family," said Kapinga on Instagram.

"I have had fabulous teammates on the field and in the dressing room and I felt the warmth of the incredible supporters. To the many people who supported me, advised and coached me, 'Ndo Livhuwa nga maanda.'"

Besides Kapinga, Joseph Mhlongo is another player that has left Black Leopards recently after he failed to agree on a new contract.
