Katsande excited by Chiefs reunion

Veteran midfielder Willard Katsande is excited to be facing his former side Kaizer Chiefs for the first time since joining new boys Sekhukhune United after a decade of exemplary service.

Sekhukhune travel to the FNB Stadium for a league clash on Sunday.

Katsande has added valuable experience as Sekhukhune prove the surprise package so far this season as they occupy second position in the DStv Premiership standings.

Since winning promotion to the South African top-flight, Macdonald Makhubedu's side have impressed with seven wins from 14 matches played.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's clash, Katsande insists that underdogs Sekhukhune are determined to pull off yet another upset.

"We know without a doubt that Kaizer Chiefs are a huge team," Katsande said.

"They're also the home side and I know how it is when Chiefs are playing at home.

"So we must expect an extremely tough match but we'll just need to bring our A-game in trying to push as hard as we can.

"We just need to use that underdog tag going into the match but at the same time realise that it's eleven versus eleven.

"It's going to be about who wants it more."

Kick-off is at 18:00.
