“Aces should be commended for taking a very noble initiative of this nature because the rhino, as you know, is a national asset,” says ‘Chincha Guluva’.

“They obviously come from an area where it’s a rhino area so I think it’s a very, very good thing to be involved in this initiative, so we need to commend them.”

Aces also announced that they will be donating R10 000 to Stop Rhino Poaching for every match they win as of today, and with the two clubs clashing in an Absa Premiership fixture next week Tuesday, Motaung adds that Muhsin Ertugral’s troops will have to fight tooth and nail if they hope to make secure their first donation from the Mighty Amakhosi.

“It [the match] will also help them to kick-start the process of this campaign, but obviously we’ll have to make sure they earn it because we want to make sure their first contribution they make is not from our game but from the other games after, we will make them work for it,” he jokes.
