Solinas has continuously lauded Billiat since their concurrent arrival at Naturena, reiterating his belief that the Zimbabwean international is the best player in the PSL.
The former Free State Stars mentor is also often seen bowing at the return of the 28-year-old to the bench after being substituted.
On the other hand, Billiat is appreciative of the gaffer's adoration of him, and is likewise fond of the Chiefs coach.
"I'm grateful to have a coach like him [Solinas], but most importantly it's about the team. We all know him, and he's like that with everyone in training," said Billiat.
"I don't see something special in it, he's always like that. I'm grateful for the love that he has for me, and I love him too, just like everyone.
"I love the relationship that I have with him."
The duo bagged the Absa Premiership monthly awards for the league's best coach and player of September at the PSL headquarters on Thursday afternoon.
