Garcia's Baroka return delayed

Garcia has been back at the club since last month, after initially being shown the door at the end of last season, but will now have to wait longer to mark his return.

“I am due to see the doctor again tomorrow [Thursday] because of this injury,” 'Joka' tells

“After seeing the doctor I will be better informed about all happening with this injury. For now I have been out for two weeks but my running is getting better, and I am hopeful that I should be back soon.

"It doesn’t feel like it is anything too major which is why I am able to at least run."

Bakgaga start their campaign off against Polokwane City in what promises to be an exciting Limpopo derby on Saturday afternoon at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The two clubs have had a tense rivalry through the years which appears to have been diluted by the friendly relations that they now enjoy.

City's season opener came last week when they were on the losing end to Cape Town City in the MTN8 quarter-finals.

Baroka are also hoping to have all their new foreign signings Talent Chawapiwa, Abdi Banda, Lewis Macha and Robin Ngalande available for selection come the weekend.
