Keaghan is currently on trial at Bidvest Wits from Scottish second-tier side Livingston, but his brother Kyle has already secured a move away from Livi.
He has joined fellow Scottish Championship side Queen of the South, who finished fourth last season but failed in the Promotion Playoffs.
There is some irony too in that it was Kyle Jacobs who scored a late penalty against Queen of the South on the final day of the season to ensure Livi stayed in the division.
Kyle and Keaghan are two of four Jacobs brothers who all played for Livingston, famously all featuring in one game in 2010.
It is thought to be the only time in the history of professional football that four brothers have played in a single match.
Devon is now with Scottish fourth-tier side Berwick Rangers, while Sheldon retired from football to concentrate on his studies.
Keaghan is a free agent after leaving Livi and is looking to win a contract at Wits after spending his entire career in Scotland.
