Khune: Time to win


Another defeat against Jomo Cosmos this evening will see the Amakhosi equaling their record of four consecutive defeats, having come up short against Orlando Pirates, Platinum Stars and ASEC Mimosas – all without scoring.

Khune, who played against Dikwena and the Ivorians following a return from injury, says nothing less than a win will do against Ezenkosi.

“We got ourselves in this situation, so it is also up to us to start winning in order to restore our confidence and that of our supporters,” he tells the club’s official website.

“The first opportunity to do this will be on Tuesday against Jomo Cosmos. There’s not much time to prepare for the Cosmos game because we played on Saturday.

“On the other hand, we work according to a schedule and we will be ready for the match. We have the character to bounce back.”
