Broos names final Bafana squad for WCQ


Hugo Broos has named his final 23-man squad for next month's 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia, with Percy Tau among the notable absentees.

On Monday, Broos confirmed that he had trimmed 11 names from the provisional squad he announced last week to reveal the 23 players who will represent South Africa in October's double-header against Ethiopia.

Sifiso Mlungwana, Thapelo Morena, Vusi Sibiya, Thibang Phete, Luke Fleurs, Tercious Malepe, Sphephelo Sithole, Jesse Donn, Luther Singh, Mduduzi Mdantsane and an injured Percy Tau are those who miss out.
