Golden Arrows announce six departures

Golden Arrows have confirmed the departures of six players ahead of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership campaign. 

Kwa-Zulu Natal-based outfit Golden Arrows have trimmed their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign after announcing that the club has parted ways with six players.

Matome Mathiane, Maximillian Mbaeva, Siyabonga Dube, Siboniso Conco, Lindokuhle Mtshali and Michael Gumede have all departed, with the latter already confirmed as a new signing by DStv Premiership newcomers Richards Bay FC.

"We bid farewell to Matome Mathiane, Maximillian Mbaeva, Siyabonga Dube, Siboniso Conco, Lindokuhle Mtshali & Michael Gumede," the club said in a statement on Monday.

"We would like to thank all the players for their time and service for the club and wish them well in their respective futures."

There has been no word yet from the club on the future of Pule Mmodi, who has been widely linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs in recent weeks.
