Chippa United head coach Gavin Hunt remained non-commital on the potential arrival of attackers Rodney Ramagalela and Phakamani Mahlambi.
Ramagalela is believed to be reconsidering his future at Black Leopards, who were relegated to the GladAfrica Championship.
The 32-year-old scored a solitary goal with one assist in 25 appearances in all competitions for Leopards last season.
Meanwhile negotiations are also believed to be ongoing between the Chilli Boys and Mamelodi Sundowns for Mahlambi.
According to a source close to the situation, Sundowns and the Bafana Bafana international are still locked in talks to reach an amicable agreement regarding his exit.
Queried on the duo's potential arrival, Hunt gave little away as he continues attempts to strengthen his squad during the off-season.
"I don't know, we're still waiting to see [on any potential transfer]," Hunt tells KickOff.
The former Kaizer Chiefs tactician added that attempts to concluding a deal for Mahlambi were still ongoing.
"We're trying, boss," Hunt said.
Hunt had previously revealed that he was willing to reunite with Mahlambi despite his reported off-field issues.
"I liked him, but he has problems, I hear. Sure [we could sign him], but he will have to take a pay cut and be ready to prove himself again if he wants to. His living habits need to improve, but I can help him," Hunt said.
The 57-year-old, who joined after departing Chiefs, will aim to improve a Chippa United side who contested last season's PSL promotion/relegation playoffs.
