PICS: Chiefs survive Leopards onslaught

Premiership picks out the best images as Kaizer Chiefs managed to escape Black Leopards with a point to continue their unbeaten run at the top of the log.

Chiefs visited a packed to the rafters Thohoyandou on Saturday afternoon to face a Leopards side on a four-match losing streak in the Absa Premiership.

However, it was no walk in the park for Amakhosi as they were all but outscored by the home team who showed some resurgence, coming away with a 1-1 draw.

Ernst Middendorp's side, meanwhile, continued their impressive run this season as they moved on to 42 points from 18 games and went 10 points clear at the summit of the table.

Samir Nurkovic also bagged his 10th goal of the season to move up to second on the scoring charts, behind Orlando Pirates forward Gabadinho Mhango, who is on 12 goals.

For Lidoda Duvha, it was a first point for new coach Cavin Johnson in four games as the continue to languish in 14th position - level on points with 15th-placed AmaZulu and one point ahead of bottom side Polokwane City.
