Maritzburg United coach Eric Tinkler has given his team credit after winning the Absa Premiership Coach of the Month award for February and March.
Before the enforced football break Tinkler's side was the most in-form team in the league having beaten log leaders Kaizer Chiefs and title contenders Bidvest Wits away from home in the space of a week.
Tinkler, upon accepting the accolade on Monday, gave credit to his players after some exceptional performances this season.
"Yeah obviously it's a great feeling to be awarded Coach of the Month for February and March, although it was a very long time ago," Tinkler said.
"But I thought we performed extremely well during that period, achieving very good results, beating Kaizer Chiefs and Bidvest Wits.
"Fantastic achievement by the team generally and I'm obviously very proud of the boys and very happy."
The Team of Choice will be looking to finish in the top four and on Sunday, 16 August take on struggling Black Leopards at FNB Stadium (15h30).
It will be their first match in four months before they host Mamelodi Sundowns at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Friday, 21 August (18h00).
