Marumo Gallants moved four points clear of the relegation zone in the DStv Premiership with a 1-0 win over Sekhukhune United on Wednesday evening.
Sekhukhune made three changes to the side that beat SuperSport United, as Thabang Sibanyoni, Tumelo Matona and Blessing Sarupinda were all recalled while Gallants brought back Miguel Timm and Ndabayithethwa Ndlondo.
The hosts had a quick start as Yusuf Maart had a good chance to give them the lead in the seventh minute after going through on goal but his shot across goal was saved by shot-stopper Washington Arubi.
The game was opening up after that, with Bahlabane Ba Ntwa having a good attacking spell but they could not bring goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata into action.
