Sikhakhane – who has supervised three straight league wins since replacing Kosta Papic at United – says his players will demonstrate once again that they are able to beat any team in the topflight.

Chippa, who followed up their shock victory over Orlando Pirates with another 1–0 win over AmaZulu, are bubbling with confidence ahead of tonight’s tie at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

“The match against AmaZulu was certainly tougher than the one against Pirates. We had to work harder against a team trying to move out of the relegation zone,” Sikhakhane tells KickOff.com.

“Sundowns are another big side and we are ready. I feel that if my players follow our instructions, then we will get a positive result,” he adds.

Preferring to keep his tactical approach a secret, Sikhakhane points out that he will not employ the same strategy he used against Pirates.

“Pirates and Sundwons are different so the approach will be very different tonight. We believe that we know some of their weaknesses so our approach tonight will be based on this.

“They have excellent individual players but they can be beaten. Sundowns will go down tonight,” he adds.

Downs, who are fifth on the log, are going for a win while also hoping that leaders Kaizer Chiefs will drop their first points of the season when they meet Moroka Swallows at FNB tonight.

“We are aware that Sundowns also have a good run that they would like to extend. We are the underdogs because they are the defending champions and we are happy with this position,” Sikhakhane explains.
