PSL coach to bite the dust this week

Premiership has learned that Black Leopards coach Cavin Johnson will be summoned before the club's management to answer questions related to the team's poor performance.

This website got word last week that Johnson was on borrowed time at the club after a poor start to his tenure, and Leopards were beaten 1-0 by Cape Town City on Friday to keep the Limpopo side firmly in the relegation battle.

Johnson is yet to claim his first victory as head coach of Leopards since taking over the reins from Luc Eymael.

According to information gathered from an inside source at Lidoda Duvha, management is not happy with the former AmaZulu coach's team selection and substitutions.

"The coach has certainly got it wrong with his team selection in recent games," the source tells

"One of the games is when they played Kaizer Chiefs in Thohoyandou where he put [Lesedi] Kapinga on the bench, which didn't sit very well with the management.

"He is set for a meeting. By the looks of things his fate has been decided."
