Johnson keeps Jackson as assistant

Johnson returned to Stars for second spell on Tuesday morning after he left the club a few seasons ago to join SuperSport United.

The former Matsatsantsa coach has since been tasked to save Dikwena from relegation. Stars recently parted ways with Allan Freese after he won both the MTN8 and Telkom Knockout during his stint as head coach.

Speaking to KickOff.com, Johnson confirms that he is keeping Willem Jackson as his assistant coach.

"We won't be making any further changes in the technical team for now. Willem Jackson remains my assistant coach," Johnson says.

Johnson's first test will be an Absa Premiership match against Ajax Cape Town at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday.
