“Pressure? We don’t feel any pressure,” Gumede tells “It’s a brand new game and the fact that we’ve beaten them before doesn’t count for anything, you know. But it tells us we have the ability to beat them.

“This game will also have its own pressures but like I said we don’t feel pressure. We’ve prepared well and are going into this match fully focused but with no real pressure.”

The 26-year-old says motivation is high in the Citizens camp for the crunch league encounter.

“It’s a fixture any player wants to be involved in, you know. I’m confident the players will raise their game as they’ve done against the big teams we have faced so far. But no one needs extra motivation for this fixture and hopefully we can get a positive result.”

Kick-off is at 19h30.
