Bruce Ramokgadi: My Fantasy Signings

In this edition of My Fantasy Signing, former striker Bruce Ramokgadi names two players he thinks Orlando Pirates should recruit.

Like neighbours Kaizer Chiefs, EzikaMagebhula is undergoing a squad overhaul as they look to compete for an elusive DStv Premiership title.

"Ronwen Williams and a speedy forceful striker like Kermit Erasmus will do, otherwise, there's nothing exciting in the market," Ramokgadi tells KickOff.

"Richard Ofori doesn't have a back-up, he has become too comfortable.

"The goalkeeping department at Pirates is lacking.

"Then upfront, you can see even overseas they are no longer using strikers that play with their back towards goal, as to why the likes of Romelu Lukaku are failing.

"They want strikers who penetrate the opposition defence, usually they are using false nines.

"Erasmus is experienced now compared to his first stint at Pirates, this time around, he will help these youngsters a lot.

"Sundowns have finished everything on the market, they are buying everything.

"That is why at Pirates they are releasing players who never even had a chance to play, that's because those players are not Pirates quality.

"All of this is because of lack of development, we have forsaken development as a country.

"Then you blame Hugo Broos when he says there is no quality.

"Agents are buying coaches so they can sign their players, agents are messing up our football."
