Rollers sign 'Skhwama' Matete

The silky-skilled midfielder will look to rekindle his career outside of the Premier Soccer League after his failed spell at Baroka.

He had signed for the Limpopo club in the 2015/16 season having been a YouTube sensation with his crowd-pleasing tricks while at ABC Motsepe League club FC Kathorus

It led to Baroka chairman Morgan Mamilla telling his website last August: "Whoever wants Skhwama must prepare R15-million in cash, no lay-byes, no swap deals, only cash.”

However, the 25-year-old battled to break into the first team, playing just 87 minutes in the last campaign, and within five months had been handed his clearance and released for free.
