Yesterday, the PSL Disciplinary Committee charged the Belgian for failing to comply with an order of the league's Dispute Resolution Chamber instructing Eymael to return to Rise and Shine to see out his contract as head coach.
However, according to a source inside Siwelele, the club believe they have a strong case for not returning the coach to Polokwane as the appeal they lodged with Safa allows them to retain Eymael's services until their case is heard.
“The PSL have no case here, the club [Bloemfontein Celtic] made an appeal to Safa, and Safa agreed. We are waiting for the appeal [date] we made at Safa,” the source tells KickOff.com.
Meanwhile, Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco also seemed nonplussed over the situation but admits they can only wait for the May 16 DC case to be heard before they learn the fate of their new coach.
"No problem, we'll see how it [the DC charge case] goes,” Konco tells this website.
"As a club, we’ll just wait for the 16 May date, we did an appeal to Safa."
