Mamelodi Sundowns have suffered a blow after midfielder Andile Jali was ruled out of Saturday's Tshwane derby against SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Jali who has been in scintillating form this season has been nabbed by yellow card suspension after picking up his fourth book during the league match against Royal AM in Pretoria yesterday.

'AJ' was later named man of the match following his brilliant performance against Royal AM.

Peter Shalulile and Neo Maema are among the players that have been enjoying man of the match awards at Sundowns so far this season.

"We have been fighting because you can see that we have been getting individual awards with different players.

"That shows not only one person can get those individual awards and the more we get the better we perform," Jali said.

Other PSL players set to miss out this weekend through suspension include Sankonko Bobete (Baroka FC), Cole Alexander (Kaizer Chiefs), Thalente Mbatha (Supersport United), Igor Makitan (TS Galaxy) and Sbonelo Cele (Golden Arrows).
