Baroka FC chairman Khurishi Mphahlele says he is satisfied with the club's season and feels they have been the most consistent team in the Absa Premiership this season.
Bakgaga will be hoping to get all three points when they face bottom of the table Maritzburg United what promises to be an epic battle for survival at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday (15h00).
The Limpopo side were crowned Telkom Knockout champions in the first half of the season season when they beat Orlando Pirates on penalties, lifting their first piece of silverware in the PSL.
Despite the fact that they could get relegated tomorrow, Mphahlele believes his team will still be campaigning in the PSL next season.
Mphahlele says no bonuses have been promised to the squad for escaping relegation, as it's their job to make sure the club stays in the league.
"Nothing has been promised to these boys, they already earn salaries. This is their job," Mphahlele tells KickOff.com.
"Nothing has changed, Baroka is the most consistent team in the league. When we won the cup in December we were in position 12, and even now we are still in position 12. Our season has been very consistent at Baroka FC."
Maritzburg will have to win against Baroka to stand any chance of surviving.
"Yes they will be looking for a win, but that is not going to be our problem. They put themselves there, they are down there because of their own doing, us we will not do anyone any favours. Three points will remain with us on the weekend. Our fans must come in numbers. It's Mother's Day [on Sunday] and women will enter for free," adds Mphahlele.
