Premiership

REPORT: Congo 0-2 South Africa

Ndulula netted with a spectacular overhead-kick before Rantie added a second with a composed finish in Pointe Noire, leaving Bafana Bafana on top of Group A ahead of Wednesday's return fixture in Polokwane.

"Yes, it is my hope and I think we will do well for the country," said Ndulula.

"We are here to take the country to Afcon next year and nothing else. Even the coach has emphasized that we must go there in these Afcon matches and enjoy the occasion and I hope with this showing, we will go through."

Regarding his goal on the weekend, the AmaZulu forward added: "As a striker you have to score goals but at the same time I can't take the glory for myself because we play as a team. So yeah, I can't take the credit on my own."
