Celtic players involved in car accident

Bloemfontein Celtic duo Andile Fikizolo and Jabulani Ncobeni are out of danger after surviving a car accident in Bloemfontein on Sunday.

Fikizolo and Ncobeni were travelling with friends when the accident occurred but all occupants survived with minor injuries.

This is the second time PSL players have been involved in a vehicle accident in the space of a few days.

Mamelodi Sundowns striker Gift Motupa also escaped with minor injuries after he lost control of his car on his way home to Limpopo last week.

Siwelele CEO Khumbulani Konco confirms the accident involving Ncobeni and Fikizolo but assures the soccer fraternity that both players escaped with no major injuries.

"They are both okay," Konco tells KickOff.com in a brief text message.

Former AmaZulu star Ncobeni was unveiled as one of Celtic's new signings at the start of the 2020/21 season.
