Kapini dismisses Rosslee plot

Usuthu recently sacked Rosslee and installed Mugeyi as their caretaker coach.

"Oh my god, I don't think it is true," says Kapini, when asked about such talk surrounding Rosslee's exit.

"They know each other from way back [Mugeyi and Rosslee].

"I don't think there was a situation of us as players wanting Wilfred Mugeyi to be in the position of head coach.

"The coach [Rosslee] was always 100 percent here at training and we used to work with him very well and there was nothing of us pushing him out at the club."

Meanwhile, Kapini says the players must share responsibility for the Durban outfit's poor start to the season.

"We know what is needed and we can't always blame the coaches, even us players we do have a part to play," he says.

"Some games there was a stage where we didn't pull up our socks but as players we support every coach who comes here.

"We are happy to work with Willy [Mugeyi] and we know him as he has been here with coach Craig.

"We just need to pull up our socks and continue working hard like what we did against Bloemfontein Celtic [3-2 win in the Telkom Knockout]."
