AmaZulu FC president Sandile Zungu has revealed that George Maluleka might be their last signing.
Rumours suggest that talks between Usuthu and former Kaizer Chiefs full-back Ramahlwe Mphahlele and are at an advanced stage.
But according to Zungu, that is not going to be the case.
Usuthu are gunning for at least one trophy next season.
"I only saw the Mphahlele issue on the papers," Zungu tells KickOff.com.
"I think we are done with our signings for this season.
"We can't sign more than we have now, I think we've got a very strong team.
"I think you need to look at the players we've signed to see how strong we are.
"Starting with George Maluleka, Ethan Brooks, Gabadinho Mhango, Augustine Kwem, Dumsani Zuma, Veluyeke Zulu, Thendo Mukumela, Riaan Hanamub, Rally Bwalya...
"I mean if you look at all those players, those are quality players... And add to that what I already have in the form of Sphesihle Maduna, the likes of Lehlohonolo Majoro who is fully fit and back.
"Bonginkosi Ntuli is post-recovery now and is about to join the team on the field.
"And you have the likes of Abbubaker Mobara so it's a quality team."
