Rosslee: We have to keep going

Premiership

Usuthu are second on the table, just one point behind SuperSport United and have recorded impressive defeats of Orlando Pirates (away), Ajax Cape Town (away) and Swallows (home).

Bongani Ndulula scored the only goal of the Dube Birds match to hand Usuthu their second triumph on the trot and their first home victory of the 2013/14 season.

"I thought we started sprightly," Rosslee said.

"We had a good chance in the opening three or four minutes and Drogba looked sharp before getting tired there in the end.

"It was a good open-ended game. They (Swallows) had their chances and we had ours but I’m disappointed that we defended a bit too deep in the second half.

"Credit to them as well; they came here to play football. They kept going at us and we worked hard to keep them out and thank goodness we got the first home win."

Usuthu will visit Bidvest Wits at the Bidvest Stadium on Tuesday at 19:30 before returning to Durban to host Matsatsantsa over the weekend.
