The 19-year-old impressed in a 2-2 draw with Downs on Tuesday, putting in a lively 68-minute shift at Cape Town Stadium.
“I played a great game against Mamelodi Sundowns and before the game started I was well prepared,” Mzwakali tells KickOff.com.
“We have senior players and they motivated me before the game. They gave me more instructions and they put me there [in the middle of the park].
“I was very happy. Before the game I told myself I wanted it and I thought I would take the Man of the Match. So I was very happy.
“I was a bit nervous because Sundowns is a big team but it is football and everybody plays."
Mzwakali has been described as a “natural number ten” by Urban Warriors head coach Muhsin Ertugral.
