Premiership

The player’s representative in South Africa, Kabelo Sibiya, confirms that the player is expected in the country on Friday but points out he is not at liberty to divulge the identity of the club after the signature of the 24-year-old forward.

“Yes, Traore is coming to South Africa, he is expected here on Friday to start negotiations with one of the big clubs,” Sibiya tells KickOff.com.

“I cannot tell you the name of the club because this could negatively affect the talks. It is too early to go into those details.

“What I can say for now is that the player will definitely be coming,” adds Traore.

The striker – who is currently on the books of Burkina Faso side RCK – has played a key role for the club during their matches.

Last season – while he was on the books of Malaysian side Sabah FC – Traore scored 25 goals in 24 matches.

He has also had a stint with Etoile Filante, where he managed 17 goals in 20 matches. Traore has also played in Algeria, where he turned out for two clubs in that country’s top-flight league.
