Arrows coach Steve Komphela continued with Sifiso Mlungwana ingoal and started Lerato Lamola up front alongside Knox Mutizwa.
Rise and Shine were behind in the first eight minutes when poor defending invited Mutizwa who had the easy of finishes from inside the six-yard area.
Arrows lived on the edge following the midway mark, as Kabelo Mahlasela like Mashumba hoofed over a golden chance in the area following a nicely worked tee-up.

Momentum though stayed with Rise and Shine following halftime, as Walter Musona’s free-kick forced Mlungwana into a flying save from the near post.
Steve Komphela made a change after the 60th minute as he sacrificed Lindokuhle Mtshali for Thabani Zuke.
Arrows were denied a second towards the final quarter after Lerato Lamola ran onto Mutizwa’s through ball, but Chigova narrowed the angle to pull off a point-blank save.
Rise and Shine eventually drew level when Mohammed Anas reacted quickly to a loose ball off a rebound in the area to smash past Mlungwana on the 70th minute.
