Dolly was again not included in the Montpellier squad for their trip to Angers, which they drew 1-1 – a third league draw in a row, yet are still seventh in the Ligue 1 standings. Dolly’s last league appearance for his club was 11 matches ago in mid-September.

The South African midfielder made his 15th appearance for Portuguese Second Division club Uniao Madeira, who were down to 10 men just 24 minutes in as they lost 2-0 to Sporting Covilha, leaving them 18th on the log, just five points ahead of bottom-placed Vitoria Guimaraes II.

Mokotjo made his 14th league appearance of the season, playing 63 minutes in Brentford’s 3-2 defeat to Hull City – just their second loss in 14 league games. The defeat leaves Mokotjo’s club 13th in the Championship standings after 21 games played.

Mothiba made his 15th league start of the campaign as Valenciennes drew 1-1 at home with second-from-bottom Quevilly Rouen, leaving them 12th on the Ligue II log after 18 games.

Ndlovu was an unused substitute as Qarabag beat Sebail 2-0 to move six points clear at the top of the Azerbaijani log.

Ntlhe made his 11th league appearance of the season for English club Rochdale as they went down 4-3 to Bradford City in League One, the loss leaving them 19th on the log after 20 matches played.

Nunes’ Pogon Szczecin were minutes away from their first win since August, yet blew a 3-1 lead to conceded in stoppage time in a 3-3 draw with sixth-placed Zaglebie Lubin. A point doesn’t help their dire situation as they still prop up the Polish table with just 11 points from 19 games.

Phiri came on as a second-half substitute as Guingamp trounced 13th-placed Dijon 4-0 to lift themselves to 10th in the Ligue 1 standings.

Rantie was again missing from the Genclerbirligi squad as they drew 1-1 with Antalyaspor to jump up one place to 16th in the Turkish league standings.

Singh was on target for a sixth time in 12 starts, netting a superbly-placed free-kick, but was unfortunately on the losing side as Braga II went down 2-1 to log leaders Acadmeico Viseu, leaving the South African’s club 16th in the Portuguese Second Division.

Veldwijk was not in the squad as Groningen drew 2-2 at Roda JC, leaving them 12th in the Eredivisie standings after 15 games.

Zungu made his 10th start on Sunday for Amiens, who took an early lead before conceding twice in the second half, the second after four minutes of stoppage time, as they went down 2-1 to second-placed Olympique Lyon. The loss leaves them 11th in the standings after 17 games played.
