Following his goal and assist as a substitute over the weekend, Mahlangu received his first start for new Bulgarian club Ludogorets, playing the full 90 minutes in his side’s 3-1 cup victory over Nesebar to advance to the next round.

In England, Kamohelo Mokotjo played the full 90 minutes in Brentford’s Carabao Cup tie against Arsenal, but was unfortunately on the losing end as a Danny Welbeck brace and an Alexandre Lacazette strike in stoppage time sealed a 3-1 win for the Gunners, who advance at Brentford’s expense.

In just his second start for the club, Tshabalala played 87 minutes as Turkish club Erzurumspor recorded their first win of the season, a morale-boosting 1-0 victory over third-tier Ankara Demirspor to advance to the fourth round of the Turkish Cup.

Percy Tau is set to to take to the field on Thursday night in Union Saint-Gilloise’s high-profile cup clash against Belgian giants Anderlecht.
