Baxter faced concerns over the availability of Mamelodi Sundowns wing-back Thapelo Morena as well as Orlando Pirates winger Vincent Pule ahead of the start of camp on Sunday.
Morena pulled up injured in Sundowns' warm-up before their Absa Premiership clash against Bidvest Wits on Sunday, while Pule missed out on the Buccaneer's visit to AmaZuliu on Saturday.
The Brit earlier confirmed that the duo were set to report for camp and undergo scans to assess the exact extent of their respect injuries before a decision would be taken on whether they will be replaced or not.
It has since been confirmed that Cape Town City skipper Thamsanqa Mkhize has been roped in to replace Morena, while winger Thembinkosi Lorch has been brought in to replace his Pirates teammate in the national team.

They replace injured duo of Thapelo Morena (Mamelodi Sundowns) & Vincent Pule (Orlando Pirates) who were released yesterday.
Mkhize returns to the fold for the first time since featuring in the back-to-back World Cup qualifiers against Senegal in November last year.
Lorch returns for only his second international camp after making his debut in their Four Nations tournament in Zambia in March.
Bafana are set to host their second training session in Steyn City on Tuesday morning, with Dino Ndlovu expected to finally report for duty following his long flight from China.
The first fixture against The Pirates is scheduled to take place at FNB Stadium on Saturday (15h00), before Baxter's charges visit Mahe Island for the second round fixture on Tuesday (14h30 SA time).
