SAPS making progress in Senzo case

Orlando Pirates

SAPS released new information on Saturday night via their Twitter account, with Lieutenant-General Vineshkumar Moonoo quoted in their statements.

"Investigators are interrogating three suspects who will be placed on ID parade; if linked to the crime they will be charged," SAPS tweeted.

"Since the beginning of this week, SAPS has questioned 13 people in connection with the killing of Senzo Meyiwa.

"We are in a better position and have an improved understanding of what could've transpired on day of the murder.

"SAPS is following up on many leads and there are indications there may have been more than three people involved.
"We remain pleased with the progress we are making and the overwhelming support from members of the public.

"We appeal to witnesses, law enforcement officers involved in the case and the media to give the police space to do their work."
