The Buccaneers defied the odds and qualifed for the CAF Champions League Final with a 1-1 draw against Esperance.
They will now meet Egyptian giants Al Ahly in the first leg of the Final on November 2.
After Bucs touched down at OR Tambo Airport this afternoon, to a heroes' welcome, Jele was quick to praise his teammates.
“This was a great achievement,” the stand-in captain said. “This was my first time played in the semi-finals as well the final of the tournament. But it’s not all about Happy Jele.
“It was not about me but it was a team effort and that’s why we made it to the Final, because of the team effort.
“We are extremely happy to have played well and made the final. We did this for the supporters, the country and also our families.
“We have a big game on Wednesday so we need to focus on that again and prepare.”
