Bucs’ travelling 18-man squad

Orlando Pirates

The 1995 African club champions face the Tunisians in the second leg of their semi-final CAF Champions League tie, with the first leg having ended 0-0 at Orlando Stadium two weeks ago.

The Buccaneers left last night from OR Tambo International Airport at 22h20 and they are expected to be in North Africa around midday today. Bucs need a scoring draw or a win to progress to the Final.

Regarding some of the registered players missing the trip, Sangweni is out for 12 weeks through injury after an operation on his Achilles tendon last week and Patrick Phungwayo, too, is also out with a long-term injury.

On the other hand, Thandani Ntshumayelo and Lucky Lekgwathi were left behind because of fitness concerns.

Pirates’ travelling squad: Meyiwa, Jele, Mahamutsa, Gcaba, Matlaba, Jali, Manyisa, Myeni, Segolela, Bacela, Klate, Mhlongo, Masuku, Makola, Masalesa, Mbesuma, Molangoane and Nzunga
