Milan targeting Ibrahimovic return?

According to Corriere della Sera, Milan are looking to entice an experienced striker in a cut-price deal during the next transfer window.

The website explains Coach Gennaro Gattuso has asked that player to be the finished article and, if possible, have Serie A experience.

Consequently, that would have taken the Rossoneri to Ibrahimovic, the Swedish superstar who recently netted his 500th career goal as he continues to star in Major League Soccer.

The former Juventus man could free himself from his LA Galaxy contract or leave before his contract expires in December 2019, while there have also been suggestions of a loan deal.

England legend David Beckham enjoyed two short-term switches to Milan from the same club back in 2009 and 2010 respectively - which bodes well for the prospective deal.

Il Corriere notes the Diavolo are prepared to offer him a deal until the end of the season, while his family always felt 'very well' in Milan.

Ibrahimovic previously spent two seasons with Milan, scoring 56 goals and winning a Scudetto, before joining Paris Saint-Germain in 2012.
