The former World Cup winner led the Galacticos to the La Liga title and UEFA Champions League crown, as well as the FIFA Club World Cup in a trophy-laden 2017.
And, speaking after receiving the award, Zidane said: “I want to say thank you, here I am representing the club and its president [Florentino Pérez].
"It's an honour for me and the club.
"Receiving this award means that things are working well.
"Thanks also to the president and to Real Madrid for giving me the opportunity [to coach the team].
"All the players are incredible and I congratulate all of them.
"This is for them, not for me. Thanks also to all the coaches. I have won many things, but this job is very difficult.”
