Venue change for Vodacom Second Division Play-offs

The four Inland Stream teams, Baroka FC, Highlands Park, Garankua United and Mpumalanga Sevutsa Stars that were due to play some of their games in Belhar, only discovered the change upon arrival in Cape Town.   "Our match with Baroka on Wednesday has been moved to Philippi," Highlands Park coach Jose dos Santos tells   "We were only told on Monday that with all the movement including the recent Bayhill Tournament, Erica is not up to scratch but the venue doesn't matter to us – we are ready for Baroka.   "On Saturday we warmed up with a friendly against Vasco da Gama at the Cape Town Stadium which was great for us, although we lost 3-0.   "Carlos Das Neves felt his team needed to play at that venue because they will soon be up against Black Leopards at the same ground."   Today Durban Stars open the tournament against Roses United at 12h00, while the Mother City's Chippa FC hosts Buffalo three hours later.
