Coca-Cola will become mini sponsors with their name branded on the club’s sleeve while Cutters are stamped on the back of the jersey provided by Patrick, who are a famous brand in rugby and are making a return to South Africa after 12 years, as the 2010 World Cup hype gathers.
“We have clinched deals with the three companies,” Phillip Ribeiro, a director at Vasco, tells KickOff.com.
“Patrick will be our technical suppliers and we have agreed to a season-long deal with them, although they have first option to renew with us since they are already interested. All equipment ranging from kit to boots that we use will be provided by Patrick, who are returning to the country.
“Cutters is a big company involved in garden equipment and are chipping in on the side, while Coke will also help us with their products. The three deals were done separately which is really positive for us. However, we are still on the lookout for a main sponsor for the space on the front of our jersey,” says Ribeiro.
