Usuthu to sort out players’ contracts

John ‘Shoes’ Moshoeu, Effort Sithole, Martin Carelse and Bulelani Matross all have their contracts expiring in June and this has raised speculation that they could be on their way out.

“No, we are still sorting out this issue. There’s no reason for our fans to panic. We will be attending to the players you are asking about in due course,” said Dlamini.

Sithole reveals that he has agreed on terms with Usuthu but has yet to put pen to paper.

“There are things that we have agreed on but there are other issues that need to be cleared. I want to stay at AmaZulu and help them achieve greater things in the next campaign,” said the midfielder, who was wanted by Bloemfontein Celtic.

Meanwhile, Usuthu could take on Orlando Pirates without key striker Dumisani Ngwenya, who has not fully recovered from a shin injury.

The lanky player has been absent in AmaZulu’s past three games, prompting coach Clive Barker to lament his loss as “we have never been the same up front”.
