Coach Owen da Gama is already on record saying that his team is still waiting for another goalkeeper from Africa before making a final decision on a signing to reinforce the Bucs last line of defence.
Pirates have had more than three goalkeepers trying out at training recently and Da Gama has told KickOff.com that its not true that they have already signed Zimbabwean National team goalkeeper Arubi Washingston as reported in the media.
“All the goalkeepers that have been doing trials in the team have gone back to their respective countries. We are expecting another one to arrive in South Africa soon to have look at him before making final decision of whom to sign.
“We have goalkeeper coach at Pirates and the final decision on signing goalkeeper will be based on his recommendations.”
