TTM pushing for venue change

The match is scheduled to take place at the sizable new Peter Mokaba Stadium, but according to club spokesperson Livhuwani Madzuhe discussions are ongoing with the Premier Soccer League to move the game to Giyani Stadium, as the 2010 World Cup venue is too costly for them.

Last season 'Vhadau Vha Damani' played their games at Thohoyandou Stadium, which is currently under construction.

A source inside the club told this website that the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium is also unavailable as it is being renovated.

"We are waiting for feedback, the PSL they said they will come to us before 3 O'clock," says Madzuhe.

"Because we invited them to come and assess Giyani Stadium as our second home ground. And Ronnie [Schloss] was there, he was happy with the stadium and everything, then they said they will give us feedback.

"Because Peter Mokaba we don't want to go there, it's too far for our supporters and it's also expensive for us. To play one game there for a NFD team we need to pay R132 000.

"We are waiting for feedback from the PSL, they are in a meeting now. They said they will call us after 3pm to give us the clarity on where are we going to play."
