Keshi: We will do Africa proud

The Big Boss noted that as African champions his team are representatives of the entire continent, and assured that the Super Eagles will not fail in their collective responsibility to do the continent proud.

"We are not only here representing Nigeria but the continent of Africa. We are African champions and feel that we have a collective responsibility to not only play for our country but also the continent.

"Africa will be looking up to us to do them proud and we on our part are committed to do what will make people of the continent feel proud,” Keshi said.

Having advanced to the second round of the World Cup for the first time in 16 years, Nigeria will face France on Monday in the Round of 16 game scheduled to take place at the Estadio Nacional Mane Garrincha.
