The champions almost took an early lead after a loose ball found Cristiano Ronaldo, but his shot was cleared off the line on five minutes.
A snap-shot then followed within six minutes from the edge of the area by the Portuguese superstar, but was sent straight to Marco Sportiello.
The home side were showing no respect to their more illustrious opponents and were able to monitor their every move with ease.
The work for the Frusinati didn’t stop though, as Sportiello on-loan from Atalanta, had more work to do by pushing over an effort from a corner before the 20th minute mark.
Juventus kept knocking on the door and Ronaldo found space at the back post and forced a block from Sportiello with a low shot from a diagonal ball.
As halftime approached, Frosinone grew stronger and managed to get behind the defence but still couldn’t register any chance on goal.
Neither side made changes for the resumption of the second half. A mistake at the back played in Mario Mandzukic but his cross-cum shot flashed across goal on 53 minutes.
The Yellow and Blues brigade stubbornness continued, leaving Ronaldo and company frustrated in front of goal.
A good run down the left by Alex Sandro was followed by a low cross to the box which found Ronaldo who gathered bubbly at first before attempting a back-heel to no avail.
The visitors prayers were finally answered with 10 minutes remaining as Ronaldo stepped up to lash home the winner after poor defending from the hosts
That breakthrough completely shattered Frosinone, who all but surrendered to defeat as Federico Bernardeschi rounded off the win in added time with a cool finish at the back-post.
