Sangala refused to disclose to KickOff.com the details about the money he will receive, but thanked Thanda for honouring their contractual obligation.
“I can confirm that I have successfully negotiated for a payout, but I can’t disclose further than that. I’m happy that I’m now a free agent and I thank Thanda management for being good to me; it’s a pity that I’m leaving but life must go on,” he said.
“I can’t say what my next destination will be; I’m still in Durban weighing up the options. There is some interest from some teams but I will wait for a concrete offer.”
The former MTL Wanderers defender joined Thanda when they were then called Benoni Premier United before a Swedish consortium bought the club from Dumisani Ndlovu.
Sangala follows another Flames regular Hellings Mwakasungula who has secured a loan move to lower division side Black Aces after being transfer-listed by Moroka Swallows.
