Betis keen on Igiebor

The Spanish club had earlier pulled out of talks to sign the former Olympic Eagles' midfielder following his sudden request for a salary increase after an agreement had already been reached by the parties.

However, with only a few days to the commencement of the new season, it appears the La Liga club have re-registered their interest in the Hapoel Tel Aviv player.

Estadiodeportivo reports that coach Pepe Mel is currently haggling with the club president Miguel Guillen Vallejo with a view to finalizing the transfer of the player.

Real Betis are currently hunting for reinforcements in central midfield, and have prioritised Igiebor who can adapt well as either a defensive or attacking midfielder.

The Spanish club are believed to be offering an additional €20 000 monthly as an improvement to their original offer.
