"I want to join a PSL club before the end of this transfer window," the 25-year-old tells, just three weeks before the transfer window closes. He says he wants to move "for my family's sake".

"I have enjoyed my years in Europe, including competing in the Champions League, but I have sacrificed a lot in terms of being away from family," he says.

"My daughter Siphosethu is turning two in September and I was not there when she was born, I was not there when she started walking and I have hardly spent any time with her – and that hurts.

"Family is everything to me and I want to me and I want to give my daughter what I didn't get.

"The club has been making promises about assisting me getting my family over to Belgium but nothing has happened and I'm losing patience, so I really want to come  back," he insists.

If offers come in from South African clubs, Ngcongca he will "sit down with my representatives and decide on the right offer".

Ngcongca started his career with the now defunct FC Fortune and moved to Belgium in 2007, where he quickly became a regular at Genk.

Last night he played at centre-back when Genk beat FK Aktobe from Kazakhstan 2-1 to progress to the next stage of the Uefa Europa League with a 4-1 aggregate score.
