Pitso: No offer from Sundowns

Mosimane is still without a job after being sacked as national team coach four months ago, and is currently involved in a dispute with Safa that will be decided by the CCMA.

High-ranking sources at Sundowns inform KickOff.com that club owner Patrice Motsepe is likely to effect “drastic” technical changes if the Brazilians fail to beat Golden Arrows in their next League match this weekend.

Despite roping in a galaxy of top players, Sundowns have struggled in the opening stages of the season – collecting three out of a possible nine points.

“Sweeping changes will be made if the team does not start collecting maximum points. He [Motsepe] is becoming impatient,” the source tells KickOff.com.

While Neeskens has received the support of senior players at the club, a vocal section of Downs supporters want him replaced with Mosimane.

But Mosimane, who was also linked to Orlando Pirates before Roger de Sa’s appointment this week, says there has been no official attempt by Sundowns to bring him on board.

“No, I have not been approached by them [Sundowns],” Mosimane tells KickOff.com. “Actually I have not yet been holding talks with any club.”

Sundowns have now gone for four seasons without winning a trophy and saw their 2012 MTN8 run come to an end at the semi-finals stage.
