The former PSL top goalscorer has been a free agent since leaving his Chinese club Jiangsu Shuntian at the end of last season, in which he finished top scorer with 15 goals.
Prior to his five-year stint in China, the Zimbabwean spent seven seasons with the Mighty Maulers where he struck up notable strike partnerships with George Koumantarakis, Keryn Jordan and Ishmael Maluleke over the years.
The 32-year-old’s representative Ashley Rasool confirmed to KickOff.com that the deal was concluded late on Tuesday, but added that Mamelodi Sundowns amongst other clubs were also interested in signing the striker.
The Brazilians insisted that Mushangazhike needed to first train at Chloorkop before they made a decision. The Buccaneers, however, acted quickly and scooped Mushangazhike.
